Katrina turns AI into measurable commercial returns for global brands, drawing on more than a decade taking beauty and skincare brands into new markets.
Katrina leads Maveni's commercial work with global brands putting AI into production. Working alongside the technical team, she scoped the commercial case, set the success measures, structured the pricing, wrote the commercial contracts and managed the client relationships on programmes that delivered ten times the weekly creative output at 67% lower production cost for a global footwear brand, and four times more qualified leads for a global healthcare group.
Her focus is where most AI projects fail: defining the return before work starts, structuring the deal and pricing, and changing how teams work so the results hold.
She brings more than a decade in global beauty and skincare. She leads international expansion for JUARA, the New York skincare and wellness brand, including signed distribution in China, and spent more than seven years as Head of Marketing for a natural skincare brand sold in six markets across Oceania, Europe and Asia. She has served on NZTE panels advising businesses on entering China.
She cofounded Zoe Communications in 1996, one of New Zealand's first web companies, and has built and sold three businesses of her own.
